When I see a severe strain in a child, my mind always goes to birth trauma. But that is not always the case. Today I felt an unusually twisted thigh as it related to the pelvis in a teenager. Mom then remembered the back story as a baby. In the middle of the night he let out a horrible scream in his crib. The parents found that the same leg had gotten twisted between the wooden spokes. Dad had to pull the spokes apart like Superman to get his leg out. Neither parent slept that night…..The craniosacral fascial system remembers its trauma.
