HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy) and Laryngomalacia

I am seeing a baby this week with a history of HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy) and laryngomalacia, the most common cause of stridor. He took his first breath at six minutes and immediately developed throat/breathing issues. A specialist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta wanted to do immediate throat surgery.

Mom got other conflicting opinions in Georgia and decided to hold off the surgery. He had that stridor breathing noise from birth. Rather than going into his complex medical issues, she just told people he was congested. He had to eventually get a G-tube because he could not swallow. He is now developing oral aversion.

He had locked down zero brain and sacral cycles as expected. His throat fascia was like a brick wall…rock solid. I prepared mom that CFT here would be rough; it was brutal but the fascia started to free-up. I wished I had seen him at birth for a possible better outcome.

How many neonates with throat fascial tightness could avoid having a G-tube and oral aversion with CFT? The great thing about CFT at birth is that you can immediately access the root cause of many issues.

I have told this story before, but I repeat it for the new readers. Krissy, Mike and I spent six years working on babies in the basement of an Amish food store with no electricity. In the United States, $95 billion a year is spent on medical research in huge complexes with the latest technology; we’ve got neither money nor technology.

We were working on a baby one day, and I noticed his breathing was funny. In her matter-of-fact way, Krissy said she learned it was stridor from a recent medical diagnosis. I had never heard of this disease and had to Google it. We thought fascial strain could be a big part of its cause from the Internet description.

Dr. Albert Szent-Gyorgyi said, “Discovery consists of seeing what everyone has seen and thinking what nobody has thought.” We are always thinking what condition(s) could result from a restricted craniosacral fascial system.

We found that all five of our research stridor babies were corrected with CFT. We literally found the answer to a disease that we did not know existed. Global medical researchers spend millions and billions of dollars and their entire professional lives failing to find the answer to a disease. We are blessed.
